Carol’s musical journey began as a small child, being surrounded by musical people from all aspects of life.

· Her mothers’ family were Salvation Army therefore all types of instruments were being played, including Carol learning the piano from 9 until 15 years of age. Carol also sang lead alto in her country town’s junior choir. The choir competed in various eisteddfod’s which they often won.
