Gretsch Catalina Maple 7 piece Sabian HH 14” Hi Hats, 21” Ride, 14” 16” 17” 18” Crashes, Kahzan Classic Rock 10” 12” Splashes, Gibraltar Double Kick Pedal, Remo Drumheads, Vic Firth Drumsticks - Rob started playing piano was he was 4 and worked up to concerts and completed AMEB exams to grade 7 and VCE piano - He has always had an interest in drums and percussion generally and bought his 1st kit in his early 20’s and started taking lessons and jamming and doing open mic gigs. - He joined his 1st band shortly after that which was a melodic originals band. - He changed bands a few times until he settled with a 3 piece band in Sydney that had some mild success. They recorded an album and had some radio coverage and played a large gig at the Sydney Olympics. They were regulars in the Sydney originals scene and also toured throughout regional NSW. - From there he moved into covers and played in quite a few cover and tribute bands for many years and played many gigs in that time. - Following that he settled down and started a family and took a break from playing. - he joined As Crows Fly in early 2023 after connecting with Ralph.
